This Privacy Policy explains how Wandering Studio collects, uses and protects your personal data when you contact us or use our services. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who we are (data controller)

• Contact details — such as your name and email address, when you make an enquiry.
• Enquiry and trip information — the details you choose to share about the trip you are planning and your preferences.
• Correspondence — the content of emails and messages you exchange with us.
• Billing information — where you become a paying client, we retain records such as your name and invoice details as required for accounting. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we do not receive or store your full card number.

We do not knowingly collect special category data and ask that you do not send it unless strictly necessary for your enquiry.

3. How and why we use your data (lawful bases)

• To respond to your enquiry and provide our services — necessary for the performance of a contract with you, or to take steps at your request before entering a contract.
• To send you a quotation and correspond with you — our legitimate interest in operating and communicating about our business, and/or performance of a contract.
• To keep accounting and tax records — necessary to comply with our legal obligations.
• Where you have given consent — for any optional communications; you may withdraw consent at any time.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate, and only as needed. These may include:

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards. Where you become a client, we retain records for the duration of our engagement and for as long as required to meet legal and accounting obligations (in the UK, generally up to six years). We then delete or anonymise it.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to: access your data; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data erased in certain circumstances; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
